I keep hearing of the majestic rise of the Native Americans. When is this return supposed to happen in mythology?

Update:

Chose the Category very deliberately.

Update 2:

There are multiple tribes and versions of this story - Don't worry about conflicts between them - share them all.

Oh, and what happens to White Man in the stories?

    Where did you hear that?

The interesting thing about Native American (so called) mythology It often written by non-natives.

The difference between Native American stories and mainstream society is language. English is literal and Native American languages are conceptual and never the twain shall meet.

Native American stories often talk about relationship, responsibilities and scenarios which are left for the "listener" to decide on a course of action.

Would I have done the same or would I have chosen a different one. Native American stories engage the listener to think.

Retelling Native American stories by non-natives is simply talking about characters and what they did. Then they try to apply a non-native perspective or philosophy to the character's actions, which have absolutely nothing to do with what the story was about.
