The highest paying civil servant job?
Obviously we can exclude tyrannical dictators that exploited their country and its people like, every African has ever done in Africa.
What is the highest payed job in any western society as a servant of the state.
I heard Obama hand a multi million dollar mansion built for his retirement.
But was he already rich ?
Any who, whom do we pay the most ?
Obviously this will be the most payed per x amount of time, so a doctor that works all the overtime under the sun doesn't win by default.
Standard wage per annual, assuming equal hours are worked by all.

Just to take this from the other side of the Atlantic here in the UK, the highest paid is the Secretary to the Cabinet. He is the head of the Civil Service and works most closely with the Prime Minister, who gets paid less than he does. The current Cabinet Secretary is Sir Jeremy Heywood KCB CVO, who earned £190,000 last year.
There are heads of public bodies who get paid more but they aren't technically civil servants.

The President makes $400,000. /yr plus $50,000. expense.

You state "you heard". I love that express. It is called a "rumor" ...don't you agree? Who do you know personally that knows the President's business and what he is building? no one.
Even if he were to build 20 mansions,.....so what? His money...his life. Who cares. It is none of our business.
OB is poor compared to many other Presidents. Google it...you will find out how really wealthy some Presidents were. OB is far from wealthy.
