How to melt coconut oil?
Hi there. I bought some coconut oil today and it is quite solid, kind of reminds me of hair product. I want to sauté some vegetables, mainly some peppers to go with my burgers tonight.
Do I just put the oil (Reminds me nothing of oil) in the pan, let it melt then put the veges in?
Thanks for the help.

Coconut oil will become liquid again if just placed in a warm room. As soon as you start heating it, it will liquefy. So do as you said, just heat the coconut oil, be it liquid or solid, in a pan and then add your veggies.

Just heat it up in the pan. It'll melt, and then you can sauté your veggies.
You can also microwave it a little bit to melt it.
