Why America has such a stupid attitude toward sex?

Actually America "IS" stupid about sex!

American values seem to be based on the feelings of the 1800's and no one has bothered to rewrite the initial stupidity in a context that the 2000 generation can interpret.

Until Americans as a nation decide they don't want to be spoon fed the pablum of their grand-parents there is scant hope for change.

We can respect our fore-bearers without reliving their lives. Times DO change and so should we all.

The information of our present age is vastly superior to their era, we should not force ourselves to live with the same values which no longer apply.

Older societies enact laws to enforce upon younger societies, covering the things they're to old now to do.

If anything, sex is becoming more and more loose in our American society these days. The "hookup" culture, gay sex all over the place, teachers having sex with their teenage students, animal sex porn all over the place, incest, etc. Look in the news and around you... it's not as prudish as some people may THINK it is anymore. Really, it's not. It's getting quite vulgar actually.
