Hello, I overfilled my tank with gas (the clerk did it actually), and the bike has been stalling. Will be fine when I burn some gas?

Many new motorcycles have an emissions tube toward the top of the filler neck. It is for venting the fumes and is routed back into the intake through a valve. If fuel is high enough to cover that tube then it may just be sucking in fuel causing a rich condition.

Check on or near the filler cap, there should be a tiny hole that allows air in, this prevents a vacuum forming in the tank and preventing the fuel from leaving the tank.
A fine piece of wire will enable you to clear the hole and your problem should be sorted.
Of course you might have debris blocking a fuel filter, fuel injected bikes especially will have a series of fine filters to prevent damage to the pump.

Always give year, make and model #
Might just be a coincidence.
The 2 are not related.

The clerk needs to keep his or her mitts off the nozzle and let you do it. The vent tube probably got plugged..
