Is it immoral to pay taxes...?
To a government that will use some of that tax money to fund its military, which may unintentionally (or perhaps even intentionally) lead to the deaths of innocent people in other countries?
My friend argued that the penalties for not paying taxes are an acceptable price to pay in order to make a statement about the government's treatments of the lives of others. Any thoughts?

Our Founding Fathers wanted Anericans to pay taxes, so it is not immoral, but I can understand why you would say that
