Abscessed Tooth treatment ?

I developed an abscess after wisdom teeth removal. The abscesse had to be cut open and drained. Will the dentist have to close the hole in my mouth ?

    He can place sutures. The hole should close in 1-2 weeks on its own. Do gentle salt water rinses to keep it clean.

    If you start getting pain that worsens or a bad smell or pain that keeps you up at night or severe swelling, give a call to your dentist.
