Suddenly sent mailbox shows the sender field (ME) and not recipient field...how do I get recipient back in Yahoo Mail? Works right in Basic?

I hate Yahoo mail. I hate Yahoo mail. Every time you turn around they have changed something and it is never for the better. Are they a bunch of morons? My email address is on all my stationery, all my promos, in a zillion places. It is totally inconvenient to change to gmail. But I HATE Yahoo mail. And this new "me" idiocy is absolutely maddening. What on earth is better about this feature. Does anyone have a proper solution to this? Does anyone know a tech person at Yahoo who can answer why they keep changing things all the time?

So the mind trust at Yahoo is at it again.

I just noticed the same (me) issue with my account. More important, the people I send mail to, now receive the email showing the sender as "me" not my name. Which means there's a high likelihood that it will be filtered to their spam folder or trashed as I do when I receive emails addressed from questionable senders such as "me".

How about an "opt in" option on changes Yahoo or better yet, how about you just delete all changes and return it to the last enabled state.

Yahoo will never be a social media network regardless of who they hire (Katie Couric) or how they try to clone the Gmail format. Who would turn to Yahoo as a source for news and information if they can't even get last century features such as email correct.

Please find the fool (or team of fools) who coded this change - fire him, her or them - then fire Marissa Mayer and sell the company to someone who knows what the hell they are doing and cares about the concerns of their subscribers. WTF??

If it weren't such a hassle I would have switched to G Mail long ago.

Apparently its a redesign by Yahoo and judging from the comments in various posts around the net is intensely disliked. They should learn that if it ain't broken don't fix it. After many years of using Yahoo as my homepage I've moved away for the same reason - is email next?

I'm having the same issue.. All my recipient's e-mail IDs have disappeared and it's showing "me" instead.. Very difficult to follow up on e-mails that I've sent. Besides the Enable Conversations setting is already un-checked. Please fix this issue, Yahoo!!

I'm having this problem in the US as well. Seeing the fact that mail I sent originated with me renders the entire file useless. One goes to sent mail to see to whom one sent mail. Also, is it only me? Or does my Yahoo calendar, when displayed on my Yahoo home page, lists the upcoming days out of order. They show me the most distant day first. It's kind of incredible...

After working on this most of the morning, the best I can do is to enable conversations. Now it shows "me....John Jones" instead of just "me." I feel the same way as everyone else. Every Yahoo change I

have seen recently has been just the opposite of what I want and what I have used successfully.

Yahoo Mail is absolutely horrible. Now Yahoo is forcing user to "enable conversations", otherwise Yahoo will not let you see who you sent emails to in your "Sent Mail" screen. I've put up with Yahoo's garbage far too long. I'm opening a Gmail account today.

Same thing for me in the sent and it showed up in the body of the a to email too. All my sent emails have turned to Me. I also have enable conversation disabled. It is unchecked but DOES have some kind of broken line underneath it. Very Frustrating.

After 2 hrs on hold finally got a Yahoo tech....it is a problem the engineers are working on fixing. Either Enable Conversations (or so he told me) or switch to Basic style (which I did) which fixes the ME problem for the time.

My sent box has changed today and is listing all e mails as ME rather than the recipient's nme -has anybody found the solution yet?

I went back to Basic view. Decided I didn't like it so reloaded the most recent view and... the sent folder now appears with all the recipients names again. Fixed - for now.
