Should I talk to him again?

Couple of weeks ago I started a convo with this kid next to me and when we looked at each other I noticed that he's pretty cute. It's SO easy to talk to him I love it. He said hi to my 3 days in a row when he came up to my desk before class started. But then he goes straight to his seat. There's a girl in between us so I cant easily talk to him. Anywaysss I heard tht if it's easy to talk to someone of the opposite sex then they aren't attracted to you. And I can't tell if I'm gonna annoy him If I try to start another convo cause apparently guys don't really like talking to girls they don't care for.. Idk wat to doooo or wat to talk about!
