I have a rat tail too, now it's just 7 inches long, but it was 15 in. long before I had to cut it shorter. I met a lot of girls that loved it and a lot that hated it. So in the end, keep it if you like it. I will never cut mine cause someone doesn't like it!

I personally don't like rat tails unless its a first nations man that keeps it braided.
