Replace your window regulator. And buy a new motor if your old motor works though just put it on the new regulator. I did it toy truck. Replace the regulator and the window. Watch how to do it on YouTube before atemting it. My regulator was $60 from olreilys. Do not mess around trying to fix your old regulator, just buy a new one. It's all there just slide it in, bolt it down and slide the window in. Remember to YouTube it on how to do it so you know how to do it. You don't wanna **** around. Take your time and do it right the first time.

Your window rides on a track and if the glue that holds the window to the track lets it loose then the window becomes ajar so jams the window motor. I have never owned a car with electric windows when I only need my hand to crank them up or down. Soundly kicking the door might work for the time being but the window will jar loose and jam again. When the window becomes jammed near the top try wiggling it on both sides to see if that frees it.
