is it normal to have an attorney have you sign an undated form so if your not available he can sign on your behalf?

supposed to file a noncompliance order. he changed it the same day. said to file for divorce and attach them together. would not let me date the page I signed?.did I just screw up

    You may have signed a Power Of Attorney form.Other than that it sounds fishy.

    do not EVER sign ANYTHING that is undated or has any blank spaces.

    Tell the lawyer you want it back, or your will report him to STATE authorities for ethics violation.

    if this is your attorney, he is bound by court rules to represent you as best as possible and you should be good. If this is the other party's attorney, you messed up.
