Why do democrats support required ID for a firearm purchase but not to vote, both are guaranteed by the Constitution?

Because if a person had to show ID to vote the liberals couldn't cheat, and would never win another election. One country in Ohio had 104% of all voters, voting for this illegal alien muslim hussein 0bama.

They don't think it's fair that with one ID you can buy multiple guns but if you make ID checks madatory at the polls you only get to vote once.

I guess no one has shot someone to death with their voting ballots before.. pff only a matter of time, those things are pointy.

I guess in the end it comes down to the arguement that just because something was good 200 years ago does it still matter today if its not as good, as useful? i.e Should the 2nd amendment continue just because it was written 200 years ago? I think more than anything this is the conversation they want to have.

I think it makes more sense than keeping a law just because its always been there. What's the point? Probably should never have declared independence because we'd never done that before. Saying something shouldn't be changed because its never been changed before isn't a real argument. An honest conversation about the level of murder and violence committed with guns is what this country needs.

prove you are a citizen first by having alegal document (ID) that hows you are a legal citizen and you can enjoy all the rights we enjoy. its just that simple. why all of the hiding behind irrelavant stuff is beyond me
