Xm Roady2 satellite radio?

I have a Delphi Roady2 XM satellite radio that hasn't been activated for over 10 years. I know that XM and Sirius used to be 2 different companies but I heard that they have merge into one company. Would I still be able to get and receive all of the Sirius channels if I got the XM radio activated.

You cannot get it activated now, unless it is branded as SiriusXM compatible. In 20013, they stopped enabling older radios that were not still have active with accounts at that time. An XM branded radio also cannot receive Sirius programming. Their programming protocols were different and not compatible. The new radios have different connection protocol and will not work for you now. They are still supporting the old radios for existing customers, that had open accounts prior to the merger, but not activating new devices, unless they are SiriusXM devices. You may contact their customer service department, but this is the information you'll find. They have a compatibility web page that will help you determine if they can activate it, based upon the vendor and model number.
