Root Canal Infection: can treatment involve putting me to sleep?
Short story is I have a root canal infection and I've been reading up on what exactly the treatment options are, and they all sound incredibly painful. Is there any way j can request being "Put out" before they start to the procedure? I'm going to an endodontist instead of a regular dentist.
I'm terrified of dentists...

You can certainly request it. If you do, you must bring a "driver" with you because you can't drive yourself home, and you probably won't even be allowed to walk yourself home alone.
