AT&T cellular phone service question?
I have a Nokia Lumina 520. Not long ago I had an update from windows 8 to windows 8.1. One of the new features is Cortana. It not only locked my phone down, but also my wife's phone as well. We have the same pre pay phones. Is this AT&Ts way to get customers to buy more expensive phones? Has anyone else had this problem?

Do a hard reset and turn off updates. Yes, they always want you to buy new phones.

Better yet, buy a cheap phone from Walmart Family Mobile and get unlimited phone/text/data/internet for $34.monthly, no credit check required.

You can also use the phone you have. Family Mobile techs will unlock it for you.
