Do you believe everyone is good at heart?

No, not everyone. I actually got to meet and live with a true sociopath in college. I didn't know he was at the time. Brilliant guy, copacetic in social situations but totally messed up in the head. He had no concept whatsoever of empathy. He once asked me in the bunk at 2 am one day whether I was real or not. He truly saw people as objects and not living, feeling humans. He really had no heart at all except for his own survival.

There many other examples of that in the world, like Jodi Arias among others.

I believe everyone is born with a good heart, but unfortunately some very bad things happen to a lot of people( like sexual abuse) and it turns their hearts into pure evil.

no, great example is this girl in our class. we are culinary majors/pastry majors and we are responsible for our own dishes or help others who need it of course. this girl she does the tasks then makes her partner clean up while she vanishes. then occasionally she will work on my area then leave her stuff their thinking she is slick and that i won't notice but i do and then she again vanishes.

then when we are making food for ourselves she doesn't bring anything in and she doesn't help even make it so she doesn't contribute to the meal but when it's finished she is quick to grab the food and start stuffing her face then leave again. and when it's time to clean the kitchen she disappears yet again. imagine her doing this for 8 weeks straight in a 6 hour class 5 days a week.. this isn't the first time we've had her in other classes and thus everyone HATES her.

so tell me how is she good at heart? i know many people who are not good at heart they try to act it but in return it's for something else like money or just something else in return.

i tried to believe that, i really did. but some people aren't just that great of a person after you stop building them up to be what they're not.

they show you exactly who they are early, just believe that.
