Can I donate blood without them seeing my scars?

Update:

A few friends of mine are going to donate blood today and I've decided that it's something I'd like to do (for the first time) with them. However, I have some scars on my left wrist that I'm very self concious about. I always wear long sleeves, so no one knows about them. If I go with them, is there a risk that they'll be seen, or can I just roll up my right sleeve?

It depends on where your scars are. Your arm needs to be uncovered from the wrist to just above the elbow.

    Good for you for donating.

The people doing the blood draw will see them. They should not be commenting on them, however.

Idk if you can hide it well enough, because no scar goes unnoticed by me, even 1/10 of an inch, but if they do, hush them before they can say anything. They have no right in saying anything so put them in their place, will ya? (Unless they say smth nice then pls assure them bc they r sincerely concerned my friend)
