Do you have to boil water with honey (eye lightening) for it to work?
Is it okay if I just use hot water instead of using boiled water? Is there a difference between them? Please do't answer if you didn't do research!

No you must use boiled water that has cooled. Boiling kills any bacteria in the water. I done some research and this boiled water and honey method may lighten your eyes a tiny bit, but it will barely be noticeable. Putting this concoction in your eyes could be sight threatening. If you want to lighten your eyes go to an optometrist and get contact lenses.

If you don't boil the water and use raw organic honey, there is no chance that it will work.

It must be true if it was on the internet! Isn't everything true on the internet? You know you can cause freckles if you take a red Sharpie and make marks on your face. After 24 hours they become permanent and you will have freckles form now on. This was tested on lab rats and now they all have freckles on their little faces.

I can;t believe just how STUPID people are... do you REALLY believe that putting honey ONTO your eyeball will get through to the IRIS, which is below the surface, and change the colour? Do you also believe in fairies, the Loch Ness Monster and the tooth fairy? You have got a LOT of growing up to do!

That is just a very silly internet hoax. Honey can not lighten your eyes....not even a little bit.

It would only hurt your eyes. Unfortunately it is genetical and you cannot change it. If you want to look like you have lighter eyes use contact lents, they are safer and no one will look so close to your eyes!! : D
