Question about liquid nitrogen.?

If liquid nitrogen come into contact with methanol (which is at room temperature and normal atmospheric pressure), will it cause the liquid nitrogen to expand 700 times faster than it would just being exposed to room temperature air at normal atmospheric pressure (I read that it will; I just want to be sure)?

Thanks in advance.
