Military Advice?

I took the ASVAB my school offered(I'm a senior in high school) and my AFQT score was an 80, my strongest category was verbal skills(93) followed by General science(87) and math skills(77). What are some jobs you recommend? I'm currently not planning on making this a career as I want to become a sports journalist in my future. Also I'm strongly considering an Air Force, Coast Gaurd, Navy path, as I do not feel the desire to join neither the Army nor Marines. Thanks for your help!

Quite frankly if sports journalism is your end goal, I'd stick to just that and not bother joining the military. Not saying it wouldn't be worth your time but no job in the military aside from maybe combat photography would really benefit you in terms of skills for the future. Unless of course you want to join the Guard or something and use it to pay for college then that isn't a bad idea.

Wow! You scored an 80 on a "test" based on 10th grade education levels. Gold star Corky! Pat yourself on the back!

Anyways. The military doesn't have sports journalist. So any job in any branch will be equally beneficial in that regard
