You won't be liable for his child support payments directly because you're not the child's parent. However, since he has fallen behind in his payments, anything that the two of you own jointly after you're married can be seized to pay the arrears. Joint bank accounts, joint tax returns, if his name is on it, even if some of it belongs to you, it'll be gone. So make sure you always keep your finances separate, at least until he is caught up on his debt. You will also be affected indirectly because him having a child support obligation will mean that he will be able to contribute less to the household and perhaps future family that you and he will share.

No they will not take money from your paycheck. But if you file joint tax returns they will take that check. So be sure to file separately. Also don't share a bank account with your husband. Any funds that has his name on it is up for grabs to pay back child support.

I don't know....but I DO know that I wouldn't really be happy to marry a man with that kind of debt, knowing he didn't pay child support...that would make me question his integrity.
If you think money woes can be handled because you are so in love, think again.
Sooner or later, a financially irresponsible person WILL destroy a marriage.
And if you are married, any debts he accrues will be YOUR problem, as well.
No, I wouldn't recommend marrying a man when you have to worry about his debt first off.

NO they would definitely not take anything out of your paycheck; they have no legal means to do so, its not your child.
