Okay so Ebola is a virus that you can only get from coming in contact with infected bodily fluids. The reason that 70% of people who get it die is that those people do not have access to healthcare like most of the people who are worried about it do. Although there is no cure or vaccine there are treatments for the symptoms. If you live in a first world country and have healthcare you will probably survive. The virus can be contained because it is not airborne and will not survive very long without a host. Ebola is most common in west africa but not everywhere in Africa.

A virus that you can only catch through bodily fluid contact (ie blood, vomit, spit) and it has about a 65 to 70% kill rate. It's really common in Africa, but not too common in America or anywhere else. As long as you're careful you won't catch it. If you do catch it, you're probably gonna die because it literally liquefies your organs.
But don't worry, the flu kills more people than Ebola does, since Ebola doesn't live long at ALL outside of a host body.
