I don't understand a need to be any different than how you are born, with the exception of getting plastic surgery to deal with an injury or other unfortunate disfigurement.

As far as how things have progressed, it is noteworthy to say how Hollywood now is so much different than Hollywood 50 or 60 years ago. There were folks that relied on their unique looks...and even Steve Buscemi once said about how he will never get his smile worked on..., "If it wasn't for my jacked-up smile, I would be broke"...

As long as theyre happy and healthy AND WONT impose their opinions on beauty on anyone who refuses to have any of it, then I'm cool with them. Sometimes I wish I had the supervillian's Mystique's powers so I can morph into Jennifer Lawrence so I'll be taken seriously at work but I learned a long time ago to accept myself. If someone thinks I'm unattractive for whatever reason then that's their problem not mines

This is a very personal view, so please don't take offence to it. Well, I think that the people that call others 'pathetic' (told you it was personal) or tell them that they are needy, attention seeking, etc, I think those are the most attention seeking people. They want people to read it, not only agree with it, but to like them because of it. Correct me if I'm wrong, most people that take on plastic surgery are pretty, but are almost always smiling slightly too much. In pictures, I don't know, but a lot of people who do take on plastic surgery are hugely self conscious, depressed, and they almost always just want someone to go up to them and say "wow, your beautiful." Well, society has changed, leaving two faced snobs in charge. I always thought I was ugly, because I not only felt it, but people would bully me, call me names and not accept me. Now that I'm a bit older, people older then me have matured, and I'm constantly being told how I have beautiful eyes, long hair, etc. A lot of people look like me, and a lot of people think they are ugly, because of jealous idiots. Now, lets look at those people who have said absolutely horrible things about those who have been upset enough to take on plastic surgery, just so someone would tell them they're pretty. Would they, honestly go up to someone who had carried out plastic surgery and say "your ugly," or "your fake". If they do, they are real... mean people... but if they don't, it makes them the fake ones, them the pathetic ones, them the two faced horrible *******. I've got too into my argument, but, all I'm trying to say is two things. Firstly, DONT talk about people who have had plastic surgery behind their backs, or behind the safety of your computer screen. It makes you the pathetic one. And secondly, next time you see someone, anyone who looks self conscious, go up to them and say, "your beautiful|". You never know, you could have saved that innocent person from plastic surgery <3

At the age of seventeen, Jedlica, unhappy with his appearance began to research his first cosmetic procedure, rhinoplasty. Inspired by watching “Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous” as a teen, Jedlica saw body contouring and cosmetic surgery as emblematic of the wealthy, glamorous lifestyles he sought to emulate. His parents did not approve of cosmetic enhancements and Jedlica was forced to wait until he could legally make the choice for himself. Four days after his eighteenth birthday, Jedlica underwent his first cosmetic procedure, to reconstruct his nose.

Over the last decade, Jedlica has undergone approximately 140 cosmetic procedures. These have included rhinoplasty, chest implants, shoulder implants, bicep implants, triceps implants, brow shaving and lifts, cheek augmentations, subpectoral implants, thigh implants, gluteoplasty, lip augmentations and calf implants.

This photo is of the man who first started out "Justin Jedica", who is now. "ken" doll.

My thoughts on this is It's sad that beautiful people have to make them into dolls when they are already beautiful!

A real Ken doll would lack nipples.

    Are you making this up?

No, That doesn't make any sense to me. Doesn't say he can't do it, if that's what he wants.

Why not just be ourselves? Better that way, I think. Trying to be someone else gets us nowhere and makes us all unhappy
