At my day program I felt so bad for my friend after hearing him talk about having to make a costume he’s envisioning by scratch because he can’t afford the costumes on Amazon. We winded up heading to Walmart where I bought him something he now really likes. I’m a firm believer in practicing good karma but afraid I’ll make my boyfriend jealous if he found out about the good favor I done.

I really want to know why my live in boyfriend of almost 10 years would post such a racially insensitive post on Facebook????? I'm trying to find a job, trying to network, and hopefully rebuild friendships or least make new friends who share similar goals. I'm not stupid! I may not have proof but judging by their constant snubbing me every Xmas, them staying silent on job opportunities and their bigotry, their continual nosiness in our personal affairs, I think I had enough of their phoniness online and in person and giving this guy I'm with any ideas. There is this saying that "the apple doesnt fall very hard from the tree".

I love thrift stores but it makes me so sad that people from other poorer underdeveloped countries dont have access to all the merchandise that many stores in my area so badly need to make a profit from but not good business practice to give the items away

Shes 10 yrs old, was told shes a clean bill of health by the vet, was told shes a little more chatty because shes older.

She is always happy to see me and shows me in her own little way that shes getting annoyed that I dont spend enough time with her. What more can I do? She really doesnt like a lot of toys. We tried. I just think its absolutely ridiculous that that people like me are willing to stand up to bigoted bullies on Facebook and their supporters. 1st my account was disabled because I stood up to young Black girls who were being bullied. My account gets disabled again because I stood up for Native Americans and said something like I'll be damn if someone is going to make me feel ugly, low class or dirty because I have Indigenous and get mistaken for a lot. This time the whole argument is over some movie I have no interest in seeing because I hate that writer/director's opinion about Native Americans esp the remarks towards women. Its not fair!!!! However some crazy woman gets away with telling me that I "should be tortured with spoons" refering to a torturing method used by some criminal element. I swore she was threatening me. Maybe I was too blunt for their taste but I did make my point across without using any profanity or calling derogatory names. I have no idea whats going on at Facebook INC, but Mark Zuckerburg is stupid for keeping anybody who has no business on his payroll. America is a democracy that entails free speech not communism. I totally get why so many dont want a Facebook.

Its ok talking about mundane stuff like the weather, inflation, Katy Perry, but its another trying to get me to blurt out my home address. A former co-worker did this to me once and then a much older cashier the other day. I always say just up the street and leave it at that. I still find it so shocking how "friendly" some men are

I personally think the 2 main jobs in demand are Computer Science and Medicine. It really saddens me that so many have dreams that go unfulfilled and that the workplace is getting more cutthroat. People losing their homes, losing their pensions, divorce rate still ridiculously high, so many cant pay off their credit card and student loan or cant even pay for college. I know because customer service has gone down the toilet. So much so you can be fired or have your hours cut dramatically where you have no choice but to quit. Does anybody really believe the future could look anything like the Blade Runner, Running Man, the Hunger Games????

I'll shoot to the point.

Weere cohabiting no we never married. We don't have kids but 3 beautiful cat we love very much.

I'm tired of him never in the mood for sex. If he is hes so uptight about it. A few friends who were sympathetic towards me says hes depressed over being overweight and having a physically demanding job.

I nagged him even ridiculed him about going to the gym, recommended more healthy alternatives to snacking, suggested vitamins, even begged for walks around the neighborhood etc.

My boyfriend's problem is his stubbornness, pride, lack of sense of humor, taking himself way too seriously, self centeredness (yes when he comes home he wants his dinner whenever he feels like it, dishes cleaned, ignores me a lot yet very jealous of my friends on social media, and dotes on the cats.)

Were hardly ever in public. He better hope for his sake its not because hes ashamed of me and A LOT more to do with us not being able to afford to go to eat or getting that table at our favorite restaurants . YES it does happen ALOT and yes I really hate the wait.

Hes already established in his career. I'm trying to finish school and hold down a steady freelance job. He always nags I'm not making enough for school. I always say honey I really love my freelance job. Also it really does depend on the hiring manager. It may not have the experience or I don't have that wholesome youthful look theyre looking for. Try to understand what its like to be a minority woman in the US

I believe I did the right thing because I wanted to protect my family from God knows what kind od spirit might follow me home.

I admire your curiosity and respect for the supernatural and the afterlife BUT I'm strongly against ghosthunting or visiting ghosts or using any kind of communication device or method to contact "the other side". I personally think the spirit world is way too dangerous to mess with and I'm afraid of it for all the right reasons. Like wildlife, I personally believe in the "you don't bother them they wont bother you" motto. I can understand why spirits both good and bad go out of their way and do everything they can to get the living to leave if they feel like youre on their "turf". I compare this to trespassing on someone else's property without their permission or coming in uninvited.

You seem like a great guy and I know you mean well by stopping by to say hello. However I worry youre going to encounter the wrong spirit who thinks its ok to follow you home and haunt you until you go nuts and wreak havoc in your home. Theres lots of testimonials about people who went thru an incredible amount of traumatic stress of dealing with and getting rid of an evil spirit even the benevolent ones.

hes wonderful and we go to the hiking trails located in the suberbs every chance we get. I trust his intuition if he has a good vibe then I have a good vibe. BUTTTT in the back of my mind, i'm always worried were going to run into a wild animal like a wolf or worse a bear. One day I heard sirens or a loud howling noise NOT sure but he and I got the hell out of there. Any body language or red flags to watch out for. Goldens are great but I doubt they make good guard dogs

I'm tired of filling out applications for retail work even waitressing work. I'm starting to get very frustrated with the process. Yes, sometimes I get upset when I go anywhere and I ALWAYS see the pretty white woman get the job. I still cant believe I filled out tons of applications for housekeeping jobs in upper middle class households but no call back,, I worked in fast food in the past but I don't think those work references has done me any favors. Yes I have to compete with women my age or women old enough to be my mother or grandmother. I'm from CT by the way

ok I'm Hispanic. I have long black hair, tan skin not too light not too dark a complexion Jennifer Lopez has, full lips, big smile, big brown eyes (yeah the kinds Asians get surgery for lol) I guess I'm considered gorgeous if lots of men are attracted to me (white even the blond haired blue eyed types, all different kinds of black men and Latino men, Italian, Portuguese, and even East Asian men: from the nerdy dookiest to some very handsome types. not to worry I always tell any random guy thank you but I have a boyfriend who I love very much and go on my way). I've heard a lot of horror stories about them had to block those same rude admirers online because theyre always trying to add me on facebook. Why are they drawn to me knowing its going to be quite a significant culture clash? I know I'm not as pretty as their Bollywood actresses.

I was at a Thai restaurant after a really hard day at work. The waitress was really nice to me and I placed my order. I swear one of the dishwashers came out and he looked straight at me and gave me a big smile. He looked friendly so i said "Hi beautiful". He blushed and ran right back into the kitchen, LMAO. I felt bad because i must have embarrassed him.

I must confess I have a big crush for this Asian guy I met online. He really likes me as a person and finds me attractive. As much as I really like him, I think its best to keep things platonic until I get my goals out the way. We don't have too much in common but he appreciates my animal loving film and theater junkieness. I'm Colombian and Puerto-Rican by the way. I'm quite "Westernized". He's "Westernized" himself. I'm not interested in pouring my heart out knowing its going to be a giantsize nightmare in the end and my heart is going to be broken.

I have to tell a former co-worker were not friends anymore because his crush on me is making me uncomfortable. Why pursue someone I'm just not attracted to romantically and is disliked by my wonderful boyfriend and his family who warned me about his creepiness and potential to stalk. I have to give him the message flat out that "its over let me alone move on with your life" some way somehow. I'll never make good friends at work ever again because I'm so sick of people bringing their problems to work and hes one of them. I just befriended him because I wanted to be nice and help build employee morale at work. Thank goodness he quit because he hated the management. We were both co workers for a fast food restaurant by the way.

I'm getting my Bachelors of Science in Education in English. I live in Hartford County, CT. I'm hoping to be a middle school or high school English teacher when I finally graduate. I'm considered a senior in college. I'm have another 2-3 yrs to go before I graduate. I'm at a point if I cant get a job teaching English, then I might as well go for my masters in Special Education or in Speech Language Pathology. Which will mostly likely get me hired? Which is in demand, honestly? If its possible I'll to get both masters in my lifetime, just so I have something to put on my resume. I really love working with people with special needs regardless. Because I used to be put in Special education growing up, I can relate to the special needs students struggling with their school work in need of my help. On the other hand, I researched Speech Pathology, its fascinating and I'll be helping all kinds of people overcome their speech problems. I have no idea how to get my foot in the door in either professions other than tutoring English and the coursework I'm going for in my masters. I can see what the Education Club at my school can do for me and see what opportunities pop up and see where it goes. I've been thinking about this a lot because I really dont want to work in my fast food job for ridiculously low pay and zero opportunities for the rest of my life.

I work at Wendys location in CT. I've been with the company for almost 5 years. Plus I'm a college student which has never made management very happy, because they had to get off their lazy asses and redo the weekly schedule. Every class at school Ive taken always takes place around lunchtime. Don't blame me, blame what classes are available and the fact there no future for some people working in fast food because what they offer for people-coworkers and managers alike who has been in the company for years is a joke. The times any Wendys restaurant is busy is during lunchtime, between 10am-3pm. I cant work those hours during the Spring and Fall semesters because I have classes and time for tutors, seeing the professors during their office hours and the lots of homework. I now only get one day a week because my boss claims theres no business and she has to think about the other employees who have been at the establishment for years and they have to make time to train me. I believe the person who hired me is at fault because he was horrible with training because of his laziness and arrogance. Since then I only do the housekeeping tasks just keep his and every managers mouth shut if I still want my shitty paycheck. I tried finding another job no luck because perspective employers either claim I don't have the experience, cant work fulltime or both what should I do. I'm thinking about calling an employment lawyer if human resources wont help me because this job is ruining my chances of finding a better job.

This is something I'm thinking about since I have another 3 years left of college. Right now I'm a tutor with the New Britain, CT school system?
