I left my ATV (no title) at a buds house because there were more trails up there. Can I sue to get the ATV back? Details below.?

Update:

My sister and I have several messages from Facebook - him chatting about paying me back for the four wheeler and telling me that he is going to pay me back etc. - I have tons of it. It has been 2-3 months since this has happen. I think the FB messages alone should hold him accountable, even though the ATV has no title.

How would I go about suing him? I have given him many warnings but he has not heeded them. He also owes me $45 from another time I could include with this.

    You can go to small claims court.
