Who's going to sift through a question with 397 answers to give a best answer. It's downright stupid with a capital P?

I wouldn't sift through that many answers nor have I ever received 397 responses.

Since most OP's Never chose a best answer to begin with - I don't stress on the why's.

I do however, refrain from answering the types of questions that do receive hundreds of answers though.

I mean, seriously. If the Only response is Yes/No or True/ False - you can be assured that said BA is chosen by the OP if at all because they know said member or found them cute.

People can sort the answers by Relevance or by Rating. While neither is a absolute indication of a "good" answer, it should narrow it down a lot.

No-one has ever received that amount of answers apart from celebrities and they don't choose BA themselves as far as I know.If you aren't prepared to give BA then don't ask Qs.

Not sure where your looking, but the "new" format contains hundreds of replys to questions.
