How can I be a lacrosse goalie in college?

Invite a friend over that is a middie or attack man to take shots on you and just constantly throw a different variety high to low, mid to high, bouncers, etc and from different angles and distances to improve your ability and practice throwing, especially long distance. If you can consistently throw great distant passes your headed in the right direction. Then start going to college showcases and playing for a good summer/fall team that participates in tournaments college coaches attend. Passing wise 9/10 ratio for good completed passes. For how many stops per shots I don't know.

when I was a kid, my buddy and I played and basically forced his brother to play goalie for us. we were douchebags about it and whipped shots at him in a tiny urban backyard. he had no crease, crappy equipment, no ref and no defense men. He got good. Real good. the second summer, he never flinched, stopped all but the most tricky shots with completely illegal screens. we basically checked him while the other guy shot. 3rd summer he stopped half of those. 4th summer, my buddy and I graduated and the goalie brother went to HS. Varsity sophemore year and free ride offers to like 8 small colleges back east.
