That depends on where you are in the country and your culture. In London it seems to have little meaning to the Typical "White" Brit, They expect shops to be open for example. In a village in the lake district The people there will typically go to mass and treat that day more reverently. However there are Substantial groups of people who do not care about the Lords Day as a religious one, atheists for example.

Im not answering your question but I'm just responding back to what you put back on mine. If you're atheist, why comment on my post when you KNOW I believe in God? Youre not going to change my faith. Nice try though. :)
