With music festivals becoming more and more popular, is there a chance that jam bands will ever become mainstream?
I've noticed music festivals increasing and some of the older ones becoming more gigantic, such as Summer Camp, Wakarusa, and All Good.
I go to much of them myself and noticed that they get bigger and bigger each year.
Will jam bands ever take over the rock and roll scene? If not, then I'd hope so because rock music is in the gutter these days.

Music festivals are not becoming more popular. They are becoming bigger. But a lot of the smaller local focused festivals are disappearing (insurance cost and similar administrative overhead has increased dramatically.)
But the big shows, by the big production companies are increasing in size.
