deployed servicemember, depressed girlfriend; need help!?

I'm deployed, and the doc has said my girlfriend is depressed. She's not happy anymore, always sad when we talk, feels alone. I've tried all I can do from afar; letters, flowers, offered to fly her home for a bit, asked her friends to help her out, gave her ideas to keep her mind off things...talking, chatting, video chatting...... nothing is helping. I don't know esle what to do. CAN ANYONE HELP ME HERE? Am I missing something??

You have to find why she feels alone even when your there. Until you find the underling problem, your wasting your time. Not only do service members spouses and girlfriends suffer from this so do Police offers spouses and girlfriends. This is just my opinion, I believe it's a defense mechanism thats built inside preparing them for what could be the bad news of your death! Reason I say this BEEN THERE DONE THAT spent 14 years in the Army.

How old are you guys? If you're over 18 spend the night with her so she won't feel alone, at least not for one night.
