Best way to make a DJ logo?
For confidentiality, I will write **** instead of my actual DJ name
I made 2 variants of my DJ logo:
a) logo that says DJ ****
b) logo that just says my DJ name (without the letter "DJ" in front of it)
If I would like to trademark my logo AND my DJ name, which variant is best to use?
Thank you

Not sure what you mean by "like to trademark my logo..." If you're using it on your goods or services in commerce, in the USA or Canada, then they already ARE your trademarks.
Registration is completely optional. Most people would register the combination name and design, for federal preemption, but know that any change of either one will void the registration. Others would register the name without the design, knowing that the design is also covered by copyright laws. Your own attorney can help you figure out why you need to register at all, whether you should register in one or more US states, or in the federal USPTO, or simply use "tm"on your name or on your logo, to your heart's content, and enforce your brand in state or federal courts without any registration at all.
