Should the Red Sox sign Lester and give him what he is worth or will they go for shields?
I agree I am a die hard sox fan and we have 3 titles in 10yrs 2 of which with Lester and 3 with Papi and they deserve the best.

they should definitely go for Lester. He is a great pitcher and would make the #1 spot in the rotation for many teams. I also think they are in need for a top notch guy on the mound. I mean I wouldn't say that Clay Buchholz is a reliable pitcher, neither by performance nor by health. Lester is a beloved man in New England, I mean he gave that city two World Series titles along with the Red Sox. That he demands some green for that is no surprise to anyone and I really hope the Red Sox will give him what he deserves.

I would like to see them resign Lester. He has proven himself to be a great pitcher in Fenway and I would love to see him come back.
