Yahoo Answers is shutting down on May 4th, 2021 (Eastern Time) and beginning April 20th, 2021 (Eastern Time) the Yahoo Answers website will be in read-only mode. There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account. You can find more information about the Yahoo Answers shutdown and how to download your data on this help page.

Why aren't the questions being updated more frequently like they used to be. Some questions first in line haven't changed for days?

Above the list of questions, you'll see the options 'Discover' and 'Answer'.

Discover is the default and many of those questions are hours or days old, and do appear out of order. If you click 'Answer', you'll see the most recent questions and in chronological order, newest on top.

You are on "Discover" (note it is underlined) which is popular and Network questions in no order. You can use the customize feed to change some of that. Click "Answer" which is the chronological list.
