iPhone 4S restore question. Why does my usb turn the phone off and on when I get to "Waiting for iphone"?
I think this is my last Apple product. I don't know if this has been answered but here goes nothing. I have been on the verge of pulling my hair out for the past 3 days since the new iOs update came out. My phone completely wrecked out. It's been stuck in recovery mode and I can't get it out because my phone cuts off and on when it gets to a critical part. I have other usb (my keyboard) hooked up to the laptop with no problem but why are the Apple products (iPad included) giving me crap? The 4S keeps giving me an error 4013. I've tried everything. If you have any idea, let me know. It shouldn't take this much to fix a phone.
Yeah, I tried all of the things you said numerous times and I get nothing. I just went out and got a whole new phone instead..lolol. No more Apple for me. Many Thanks.. :)

This may happen if the device unexpectedly disconnects during the update or restore or iTunes couldn't tell the device to go to the restore state.
Install the latest version of iTunes.
Restart your computer.
Restore using another USB cable.
if error persist, i just use another computer to do it. the itunes sync is crap to me.
