Anyone else having problems with IE 9 and some functions on Yahoo Answers?

I’m running Windows Vista and IE 9 on desktop PC. I can answer and read questions fine. But have hard time getting edit and thumbs up/down to work. Can’t view or add comments to answers. I have tried: Clearing cache, temporary internet files and cookies with no help. Tried compatibility mode on and off with no help.

Sometimes by using F12 developer tools and switching to browser and document mode to IE 8 standards, refreshing page will allow viewing and adding comments. But this is not consistent and does not always work. Any ideas?

I had the same problems, and I was told that IE sometimes has conflicts with Yahoo's recent changes. I was advised to switch from IE to either Google or Firefox, I changed to Google and the problems quickly cleared up. I hope it works for you, too.

    EDIT: You comment/answer:

I'm not very tech savvy either but I got used to Google without too much fuss. I recommend you try this first as it's pretty user friendly. Good luck.

@ All replies… Can’t use comments so will replay this way.

Thanks for your input, I may have to switch as all has suggested. I sort of hate to since Yahoo Answers is only place where I have had a problem. Also have a spouse that has hard time with changes to computer system.

IE 9 sucks, move to Chrome, Safari or Mozilla Firefox

    Yes, I do!!

That's why I NEVER EVER use I.E. any longer!!!

I'd suggest Chrome or Firefox, and unless you absolutely MUST use Internet Explorer it is best avoided!!!
