I learned by just using it. One of the most helpful functions is F1 (help). There is a lot of information on formulas, formatting and programming contained in the Help files. If that doesn't work, then do an internet search for what you are looking for. There are plenty of sites that offer free tech tips, tutorials and downloads on Excel and many other programs.
