A dog breed similar to a beagle?
I saw a dog very similar to a beagle but this was uniform in color (yellowish). Similar size, a little smaller. Short hair.
The owner wasn't there so I couldn't ask for the dog's race, please help. Thanks!
I think it wasn't a Basset Hound, nor a Chihuahua, nor a Pug.
I'm trying to get a picture of him.
I'd say a type of hound or related. A mutt is a strong possibility but I'm expecting to be a breed.

Dogs don't have races, they're either a breed or they're a mutt. From such a vague description, its likely it was a mutt because there's no purebred that looks like a smaller beagle.

Maybe Basset Hound? It could've been a purebred beagle that was just small from the litter also. I think what is most likely is a mutt possibly a tricolor puggle.
