what are benefits of a laptop with 2 hard drives?
so i just got a bunch of laptops sent to me by brother in law and i found one i like now i opened it up to make sure it had everything and well it didn't have a hard drive but i noticed that it had a 2nd slot for a 2nd hard drive now i have extra hard drives around the house i can put into it but i wanted to know what are the benefits of running 2 hard drives in a laptop i know extra memory but is there anything else that might be affected

well, you get more space.. and that's about it...
hmm.. well, it does offer the ability to clone one drive to another easily too
and uh. you could have many more partitions, so could have multiple OSs on there.
you could boot windows, linux and even mac OSX (google hackintosh)
