Would you do this trade?

I have some depth and the owner of Jeremy Maclin desperately needs a rb. The price is steep but he was going to give me Jeremy Maclin and Johnathan Stewart for DeAndre Hopkins and Alfred Morris. Should I pull the trigger? I still have Matt Forte, LeVeon Bell and Ahmad Bradshaw at Rb

This isn't a steep price. It's trade rape!. Look at Morris's stats from last Sunday. This is likely going to be his stat line from here on out with RGIII under center.

If you're on overload at RB and want to leverage that strength, fine. But for any of them, even Morris who's just below elite level, demand value.

You never said why you're doing this, but if WR is your weak spot, it doesnt matter how Maclin has looked. What matters is how he WILL look with Mark Sanchez for probably the rest of the season. And Jonathan Stewart is an insult. He'll sit on your bench until you need a different defense.

So make this a 1-1 trade and get a starting WR in a stable QB situation who can be played weekly. All sorts of guys are in this category. If this guy doesn't have one, then or won't give him to you, then look elsewhere. With that group you have, someone is going to be needy at RB and will pay a better price.

You're losing 4.68 pts/game (standard Yahoo scoring) at RB but gaining 5.84 pts/game at WR). More significantly, you would be starting Maclin every week, but Morris is your #4 RB. The Maclin points are in your starting line up while Morris would be points on your bench. I wouldn't worry about Maclin with Sanchez at QB; they connected for a TD last week after Foles went out. Maclin is the #3 WR in fantasy football and Foles wasn't playing all that well this year.

Yes. With Forte, Bell, and Bradshaw, you probably won't even be starting Morris, and Maclin is a legit top 10 receiver. If you need an upgrade at WR or want to pair him with another WR1 in your lineup, do it.

Yes, definately pull that trigger. Maclin is going insane this year, the Texans just switched QBs meaning chemistry isnt there. So tea, trade Hopkins while he is very enticing.
