Would you be upset with the babysitter if your child fell and scraped their knee under their care (but you took care of it)?

Update:

I'm babysitting some kiddos (4 of them, aged 7 - 13) -- the 10 year old fell and scraped her knee pretty badly. She fell over the dog on the sidewalk. :( I gave her a piggyback ride back to the house, cleaned the cut, put neosporin on it, and a bandaid. Obviously she's going to be fine, but I'm wondering if you would be upset with the babysitter if this happened to your child. :/

Update 2:

P.S. the girl who scraped her knee is actually the friend of the other little girl that I usually babysit... so technically it's someone else's kid who sent their kid over for a sleepover, with a babysitter, and there are two sets of parents who could be mad...

    I wouldn't be mad. A babysitter can't prevent a child from tripping on the sidewalk unless they are holding the child's hand, and for a 10 year old that is unnessecary. It's just a scraped knee, not a broken leg.

    No, kids fall...I'd only be upset if you didn't do anything about and she was bleeding until I got home...trust me, if a parent does get mad about that, than you're better off not babysitting for that nutcase

    If it happened right before I got home I wouldn't be too upset, but if it happened a few hours before that I would. They are hired to take care of your children. When I babysit, I always make sure to find bandaids and take care of the situation.

    Kids get skinned knees. It's not a big deal, and it would've happened whether she was with you, with her mom, or by herself.

    Kids fall down. Accidents happen. If the parents get upset, they are being unreasonable.

    no. I would be okay with it if they did their best to care for the child. kids fall. it happens
