Integrate 4-sin(x/4)dx?

Hey guys, how do you integrate 4-sin(x/4)dx?

Please take me along each step. I know the answer is 4x+4cos(x/4)+C but I don't understand how the 4 (infront of cos) is there?

    The integral of 4 dx is 4x. That's the first term.

    The integral of sin(ax) dx is done by making the substitution u = ax, du = a dx or dx = (1/a) du

    So sin(ax) dx = (1/a) sin(u) du and the integral is (1/a) cos(u) = (1/a) cos(ax). Set a = 1/4 and that's the second term.
