That warning comes from Internet Explorer when part of your site is secure, (the URL begins with https) and some of the content comes from a non-secure area. You usually see the https when signed in to edit mode. You should click 'Yes' when you see the warning. IE has some problems and if things don't work right this is usually corrected by clearing cache and cookies. I don't know why it would not work.
I would not hesitate to install another web browser. You can have several web browsers installed without causing problems, in my experience.
I use Firefox for working with Google Sites because of continuing problems with IE.
You can turn that warning off in IE:
1. Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Security
2. Select the "Security" tab -> Click the "Custom Level" button
3. In the "Miscellaneous" section change “Display mixed content” to Enable.

The specific browser plugin that your online game uses, is getting hung.
You can try upgrading your plugin (most games nowadays use Adobe Shockwave Flash plugin). There may be various other reasons like slow internet, too many tabs open in the browser, opening multiple games simultaneously in multiple tabs, etc.

Please attach a snip of the warning. Some warnings are fake virus hoaxes and some are real warnings from your antivirus.
