Aid not taxes per say. If you phrase it wrong people will be misinformed. We provide Israel with defensive aid, which they appreciate very much.

And a good chunk of Americans have no issues with this, certainly more than 99%. At least, a lot of Americans would think that we should cut off a lot of other nations before Israel, since they use their aid for a just cause (their security) and I do mean that they actually appreciate it, since Israel has been found to be one of the most pro-USA nations in the world.

And where is your evidence that 99% do not want it?

And for the record, it should not be phrased as "giving taxes to Israel" or at least not anymore than ANY government expenditure is about "giving taxes" which is a banal point but I believe you phrased it that way on purpose to give it a more negative connotation than it actually is.

Without going into the accuracy of you question.....and just answr it....Politicians seek to stay in office.....to maintain their power and employment....The Jewish lobby in America is the most powerful lobby in Washington DC.... they control the most votes and money....If you turn them against you a politician wont survive....during the 1967 Israeli War.....Israel attacked a US military ship....killing Americans and doing 9 million dollars worth of damage....President Johnson is reputed to have said, " I will let that ship sink to the bottom of the Mediterranean with all hands on board rather than embarrass our friends"

If you are talking about Aid the Democrats do want that. And so do the Neoconservatives. Thats what they vote for.

We give foreign aid to many nations around the world. Israel is just one, and one of the few that is truly our ally. your numbers are nonsense.
