Christians: Why do you keep supporting Jews when Talmud is full of hate against everyone and you?

They call you gentiles and insult Jesus.

“‘Yashu’ (derogatory for ‘Jesus’) is in Hell being boiled in hot excrement.” (Gittin 57a)

Easy, because we have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, From the perspective of Followers of Jesus, the Talmud and its various parts are of value in understanding how the Torah was and is interpreted, and is invaluable in understanding post-temple Judaism. This compilation is the heart and soul of Jewish life and thought today. However, it does not acknowledge or provide the hope of Jesus, Messiah. We welcome our Jewish friends to accept the beautiful fulfillment of the Torah and Tanakh which they have taken such enormous care to understand. Jesus came to fulfill the Law of Moses, to free us from this impossible task-master, and bring us into full relationship with the God who has cared for and pursued Israel for so long. To understand this fulfillment further, I recommend reading Acts 7 and the book of Hebrews.

Jesus is not mentioned in the Talmud.

There are certain passages that reference someone named Yeshu that some people have said is referring to Jesus. I have seen strong arguments that it is not.

    See http://talmud.faithweb.com/articles/jesus.html

  • Read this Jewish author. Apostle Paul.. Romans 11:11

"Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. 12 But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring!"

    AND MORE!

"....do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” 20 Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do NOT be arrogant, but tremble."

13 I am talking to YOU Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles,

Those who know their Bible know that the Jewish People are God's Chosen people. To "mess with" them - you are really messing with God. "Whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye. ..." Zechariah 2.8

Tons more scriptures that I could quote on this...

And today - it is evangelical Christians who are the biggest supporters of Israel. In my travels across the USA, I have met many who would even consider going over and joining the Israeli army if they could.

Here is the website of just one very vocal pro-Israel group of gentile believers in Jesus. And they support Israel with millions of dollars each year. My own brother-in-law (an Israeli) told me this himself – that evangelicals are our biggest supporters in Israel!

    http://www.cufi.org/site/PageServer

Now - this does not mean that they (Evangelicals) accept the Jewish religion. I am Jewish ethnically and I do not even accept Judaism anymore. Not to say that it is all bad, but the fact still remains that believers in Jesus (Messianic Jews or Evangelical Christians) are 100% convinced that Jesus (Yeshua in Hebrew) was/is the Messiah of Israel. So we cannot agree with them since they typically (though not all) do not believe He was Messiah.

And after all – Jesus was Jewish!

So to answer your question - people read their Bibles and see that to Love God, you need to love Israel. Pretty Simple.

Sorry troll, everything you've said is from hate sites. You actually don't have a clue as to what the Talmud says or means.

    Source(s): I'm Jewish.

The Qu'ran says the Jews and Christians are friends with one another. So the Qu'ran must be filled with false statements, according to your claims.

5:51 "O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends: They are but friends to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust."

It claims to be free of errors, but you just pointed out that it has errors. I hope you are satisfied with the result of your question.

well...the talmud were just written by men. what has become of them?

I imagine, Moses would not disrespect Jesus Christ.

During the transfiguration of Christ, witnessed by His Disciples, Moses and Elijah appeared.

It is up to the Jews themselves to hate & curse Christians and their Lord. But Christians only need to keep their mind fixated in the Lord.

Not all Israel is Israel. Only a remnant believe now.

They hated Jesus, they hate us. These ppl have deceived Christians to support their evil. I also respect Jews, but the elite who worship mammon are not of God. Thank you for excellent links. Brother Nathaniel knows, being a Jewish Christian.
