Do I need yo be able to draw realistically if I just want to draw Anime.?
I looked at tips on how to start drawing anime, but this forum said I first had to learn how to draw realisticly. I guess its more practice, but is it really necessary if I know I want to just draw anime? Would it be better just to start drawing Anime or learn to draw realistically first.

Do both at the same time, but you're on the right track. To learn to draw anime it is necessary to learn to draw realistically. Learning the movement and proportions of the human figure will make your anime more realistic and believable.

Without knowing the 'real life' proportions it's not as easy distorting them properly for manga and anime. Learn both. Manga is a style, it's based on real people.
