Start Shane Vereen or Jonas Gray?

I'm not expecting crazy numbers from Gray like last week, but I picked him up anyway, just in case. Should I start he or Vereen?

I also have Chris Ivory. Any chance I should start him, with the Pats signing LeGarrette Blount?

Buffalo has allowed the third fewest fantasy points to RBs. Detroit has allowed the 8th fewest. Play Vereen who at least has a role in the passing game.

So you're only looking for one? IF so, I'd Gray for this week, partly to see how the timeshare plays out but also because Detroit's big weakness on defense is defending passing plays to RBs.

Ivory is tempting, though. The Bills haven't practiced all week (some of them are still stuck in their homes), there's a venue change, etc. I would never call him an RB1, but he's been beasting it all season and should give you decent points.

How I "figure" out which Patriots RB will be involved most is based off which team they play. I have Vereen and have usually started him on his good games, which have come against teams built to stuff a power run game. The Lions are elite AF against the run and I'm guessing Gray will total something like 7-12 carries at most. In the unlikely event Jonas Gray has an encore performance, then that pretty much makes him matchup proof. Bottom line? Start Vereen.

I'd start Chris Ivory def. But if you really want to try a rb vs. the lions D then use Vereen IMO. I think the most rushing yds all season earned against the lions D is only 60 yds or so.

well know sense the game has gone by, YOU SHOULD HAVE NEVER PICKED GRAY! He didn't even play in the game because he slept in on Fridays practice and coach Belichick sat him in the entire game. I picked up Blountbecause he is now back on the Pats and he is AWESOME. So get rid of Gray and get Blount.
