Why did I get over 5,000 emails since yesterday morning at my gmail account?
Am I the only person in the world that this is happening to? I left a message at Google in Los Angeles just now, but no one has responded yet.
This is an unbelievable inconvenience and I've never seen anything like this before in my life. I have emails coming into my gmail address at about 6 per second from all over the world and I can't stop them.
Do you recommend that I uninstall and then reinstall google?
Anonymous: They are practically all from Job Recruiters and companies with job positions. I have had my resume`s in several databases, but none with most of the companies that are emailing me since yesterday. My screenshot would just show mostly Indian people's names with the company and job opportunity in the subject line. I cleaned my inbox of all unread messages this morning (1700 of them), and now there are 162 more since then.

Wow!! Was they all spam? I usually get about 3 spam emails, and 6 to 8 regular emails per/day. You must have gone on some web sites and gave some information. Then they start send all kinds of spam.
