Do some Christians go to church because they like to sing? Please be truthful with your replies.?

I used to go to my local church because I liked to play the guitar, and the local church had a "folk mass".

CHRISTIANS go to church to praise and worship God and His Son Jesus. Many others also go to church because 'it's the thing to do on Sundays'. It's a cultural thing and they'd feel uncomfortable doing anything else on Sundays but such people are not Christians - they are people 'who go to church'. They meet their friends there and enjoy the singing and the company but none of that makes a person a Christian.

people go to church for many different reasons. Some folk are lonely and enjoy fellowship with like minded people and look forward to weekly mixing and mingling. Some, as you have already suggested, may just love to sing, if so, they may even join the choir! Some attend because they are serious about their particular religion and feel they must attend no matter what! It is an assorted bag of different needs really!

I'm a life-long atheist and I occasionally attend a United Universalist church, partly because I like to sing in a group and partly because, being retired, I sometimes crave interaction with other human beings.

No. Some actually go because its spiritually uplifting. Someone who doesn't know anything about that wouldn't know anything about why a Christian loves going.

delusion needs regular reinforcement because the real wold keeps exposing how absurd delusional belief is so theists need to go to chuch to help keep them divorced from the real world and believing their delusion.
