What language should I learn? Russian or Arabic?
I love language and would like to know which would be better for average learning. I am already perfecting my German and Japanese and would like another language to learn. Also, why choose that one?

You are already working on two. I would say perfect those, then cross the bridge of another language once you are there.
It is not generally recommend to work on two languages at an advanced level, and a beginner in one, and intermediate in another. They become difficult to distinguish, and you may be overwhelmed with time.
That being said;
You should choose the one you have the best interest in. Learning any language is valuable, and beneficial. But you should choose a fourth language because it pertains to your work, because you would like to travel to the countries within its realms, you would like to experience its original literature and history, enjoy the food, and be able to order like a local.
Unfortunately.. Japanese and German, are not very useful languages (hate to say) Germans, pretty much as a whole learn English. And Japanese.. is only spoken in one country, and has no real official, world presence.. plus, Japanese usually takes years to master.
Russian, is currently a critical language, however I doubt that it will stay in the world spotlight to this level for long. I doubt any country will ever really "trust" Russia, so it will always be critical to intelligence defense and politics.
Arabic, however.. will remain a critical language. Arabic speakers have less resources for learning English, and any western language, plus learning western languages are harder for Arabic speakers in general. Arabic is a UN language (so is Russian) Arabic is one of the highest paying languages for translating teaching an interpreting. Plus, Arabic for most, is more challenging than Russian.

Both languages are very useful, Arabic and Russian are very known as beautiful languages and if you learn it you could communicate with a lot of people since both languages have a lot of speakers. This is a hard decision and if I were you I also have no idea which one to choose but it depends on your capabilities. Both languages use different alphabet system compare to English, both languages also phonetics maybe Arabic could be harder because each letters have form beginning, middle and end but actually very easy to write, while Russian they have two forms the printed one and the written one and for me this is much more complicated because sometimes the printed and written are completely different. I would say go with Arabic because if speak Arabic you would look extremely intelligent even in my country every time we see people that speak Arabic we immediately think they are intelligent and also Arabic is one of the spoken language maybe the third in the world. Arabic also could help you to get more money a lot of rich people they're looking for people that speak Arabic to handle business.

I would say Arabic as Arabic countries are up and coming. The arab world is slowly taking the rest of us by storm. Also, Arabic is much easier to learn as there are (believe it or not) less characters in their version of an alphabet whereas the Russian language is very hard to perfect, it is so hard to pronounce things because there are too many accents over letters, and their alphabet will take you a very long time to learn. Just think, Russia is just one large country (a very cold country) And here are thousands of Arabic-speaking countries (not all habitable) but there is much more opportunity.
Arabic is the way forwards..
Hope it helps :)

Arabic is a difficult language. But if the asker has the choice among these three languages, then Arabic is the sensible choice, Because Chinese is way harder, the writing style is difficult. Russian is easiest but I think if you are aiming to expand your career opportunities in business then Russian is not spoken in so many countries. If you are planing to go to Dubai for example then Arabic is first choice ( Russian is not bad but limited options there) though you can manage without Arabic for many speak English. Arabic has many dialects but if u master the language u will have no trouble in understanding other dialects, specially the Egyptian, Algerian and Moroccan accents are harder because they use lots of French words, but you will be able to communicate. If you plan to be in the Middle East, Arabic is the best choice ( Then Turkish and Persian but with much fewer native countries speaking them) Arabic speakers: 295 Million native and 422 in the Arab World, Mandarin Chinese almost 1 billion Russian around 155 Million.

My dad speaks both, I only speak Arabic. Go for Arabic. It's spoken in so many countries, Russian is spoken in few. Conjugating verbs in Arabic isn't very hard, we don't have categories and stuff like, although we have some irregular verbs but not so many. The hardest part is pronunciation because we have hard sounds that don't even exist in any other languages!! It's a beautiful language and it's more helpful! and Also Arabic writing in NOT hard, trust me, I taught my American friend how to write Arabic. It's just cursive, all you do is connect the letters to each other Boom! I hate when people think it's symbols, it is not!

Do not choose language because of alphabets. Both Russian and Arabic alphabets would take few hours to learn for a person in clear mind and few more days of practice in order to remember rare letters. These are the easiest parts of both languages.
Choose culture you would prefer to explore first.

I can tell you either one will get you a good job with the military -- even as a civilian in the DoD. Arabic is very relevant right now (obviously because of our conflicts) and Russian is more and more relevant every day.
Which one? Depends on what interests you more. Maybe Google or search YouTube for basic intro videos on how to speak both to get an idea of what appeals to you more. Or, if you're feeling really fancy, try and get in with an employer/company you'd want to be employed with eventually and find out what they find more valuable.

I'd choose Russian.
Russian has a very easy alphabet, while Arabic alphabet is quite of a challenge.

I would suggest learning Arabic, that too 'Classical Quranic Arabic'; because it was the language in which the 'Last Testament' of God to mankind was revealed, which holds the answers for the most 'vital' Q's on the 'purpose of life'.
